Mountain Buggy`s Protect Infant Car Seat is ideal for transporting your baby with minimal disturbance as it is easy and convenient to transfer from car to buggy and back again. This seat offers protection, versatility and comfort for your baby, with its high side protection and thick EPS foam which nestles baby in safety and comfort. A removable cushion liner provides additional support and protection for baby`s head and hips. Additional support for newborns is provided by the included removable lumbar cushion. Friction strips on the adjustable 5-point safety harness with a chest clip offer enhanced performance in the event of a collision. A sun hood provides privacy and protection for baby both in and out of the car, and a rocker base allows you to comfort baby for short stints outside the car and unattached to a buggy.

Protect can be installed in your car using the standard 3-point seat belt fitted into most cars and is safe when installed correctly. Alternatively, for extra security and peace of mind, Protect can also be installed using an ISOFIX base (available separately) which makes light work of securing your baby’s car seat into a rear facing position. The ISOfix base utilises the universal ISOFIX anchorage points fitted as standard to most vehicles.

This Protect Car Seat can convert into a travel system with car seat adaptors (available separately) and is compatible with all current Mountain Buggies and also with other buggy brands using our range of car seat adaptors.
